About Lauren

Lauren LeBlanc, affectionately known as the “Plant Fairy,” is a Designer at Natura specializing in interior plant design for commercial spaces. With a passion rooted in biophilic design, Lauren creates environments that seamlessly integrate indoor plants, living walls, moss walls, and natural elements to elevate the built environment. Her work is driven by the belief that great design does not just transform how a space looks, it transforms how it feels.

Since joining Natura in 2019, Lauren has grown from operations into sales and design, developing a comprehensive understanding of both plant care and client experience. Today, she is known for delivering thoughtful, high-impact plant design solutions for property managers, architects, interior designers, and office managers looking to enhance their spaces with greenery, holiday décor, and ongoing plant programs. A GPGB Certified Trainer and four-time industry design award winner, Lauren brings both technical expertise and creative vision to every project.

Lauren’s approach begins with understanding how a space functions, how people move through it, how it is experienced day to day, and what kind of impression it should leave. From there, she layers in intentional plant design, balancing bold visual impact with seamless integration. Whether she is designing a large-scale living wall, curating sculptural plant installations, or incorporating moss walls for instant transformation, her work is always aligned with the overall aesthetic and purpose of the space.

She thrives when collaborating with clients who value thoughtful, experiential design, those who understand the power of a strong first impression. This could be a guest entering a hotel, a tenant arriving at a multifamily property, or an employee stepping into the workplace. Lauren specializes in creating that subtle “wow” moment that feels natural, cohesive, and memorable.

One of her most memorable projects involved uncovering and revitalizing hidden indoor water features that had been buried over time. By reimagining the space with warm-toned materials, curated containers, and drought-tolerant plantings inspired by the local landscape, she transformed it into a modern, dynamic environment that feels both grounded and alive. The project required precise coordination and teamwork, showcasing her ability to manage complex installations while delivering exceptional design.

Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas and brings a unique background that blends business, HR, and hands-on greenhouse experience. Before joining Natura, she managed retail greenhouse operations in New Orleans, where she honed her expertise in plant care and environmental impact.

What Lauren loves most about her work is seeing the final result come to life and watching people connect with it in real time. For her, biophilic design is more than a profession, it is a way to bring nature back into everyday spaces and create environments that feel better, function better, and leave a lasting impression.

When she is not designing, you can find Lauren enjoying live music, exploring Austin, or relaxing outdoors with her wife, Heather, and their Goldendoodle, Theodore.
