Hi. I’m Jay

Hello there, fellow plant lovers! I’m Jay, your friendly neighborhood plant whisperer. When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me at home, surrounded by a jungle of leafy friends. I believe adventure is important, so when I’m not spending time with my plants, I love exploring new places with my wife and daughters.

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley near the South Texas border. In 2014, I decided to move across the country to the San Francisco Bay Area. While living in California, I was greatly inspired by the scenic views and presence of nature in every corner. Thus, my admiration for Biophilic design flourished.  I like to think of myself as a nature nurturer, promoting growth and well-being through greenery.

I started my journey with Natura in 2021 after moving back to Texas. I was determined to learn as much as I could about the plant industry and I was given the opportunity to hone my skills as an installer and plant technician. Today I am proud to be a part of the Design team at Natura and am thrilled to contribute my ideas to create spaces where we can all thrive!
